On Saturday, September 7, our Welcome our Neighbor Ministry sponsored a FREE training session here on our own campus. A faithful group of parishioners and community members came to learn about how we can help refugees.
The session was presented by Exodus World Service and offered in-depth learning and activities to broaden our understanding of how we, as Christians, can help to be welcoming to refugees.
The group learned about different cultures, how to navigate cross-cultural communication and friendship, and how to get more involved.
