Christians make up only 2% of the population in the Holy Land. Unfortunately many continue to leave the country due to political and uncertain conditions.
The mission of Star of Bethlehem is to keep the existence of Christianity in its own hometown, the Holy Land. We do this by helping these carvers provide for their families through selling their handcrafted religious articles here in the United States.

In the past, our Giving Tree in the church narthex was adorned with paper tags suggesting items needed everyday by the families who rely on local food pantries. This year it goes virtual.
Join Neighborhood Food Pantries and their 7 sites in NW DuPage with a donation that provides food, paper goods, and other items for your neighbors in need this holiday season.

As always, to give families the dignity of shopping for their own food and gifts, we suggest donating gifts cards from stores like Target, Meijer, and Walmart, where families can get both food and gifts.
Increase the impact of your gift by purchasing your gift cards through our SCRIP school fundraising initiative, available at the parish office Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Cash or check only.
Drop off your gift cards at Bloomingdale Township General Assistance Office, 123 N Rosedale Ave, where they will be shared with local families in need.

We are providing meals one night per month for our neighbors who are being sheltered in area hotels during the pandemic.
You can be part of this meals project with a gift of any size to this fund.
Click on the button above to share.
Every year our parishioners generously contribute to the support of the art and environment of our worship space, including the beautiful poinsettias and other flowers,
usually in memory of a loved one. Make your gift by clicking the button above. Thank you!
