Prayer: A Catholic Response to Others’ Needs

November 9, 2016

prayer-a-ctholic-response-to-others-needsSt. Isidore is a prayerful community that responds to peoples’ petitions both from within and outside of the parish. Needs, intercessions, hopes and dreams are offered by those believing in prayers and the healing power of Christ.

People call in, email or text the names of loved ones, others in the parish or the stranger in need of prayer. Special needs are always accepted, as well as the intentions in our Parish Intention Books and from ministries that serve the parish and Church in the world. We especially want to pray for those who cannot forgive themselves and others.

Our prayers provide a net that catches all who are in need and are held in the minds and hearts of others who embrace them with prayers.

The St. Isidore Prayer Angels are dedicating time and the witness of love of neighbor in this generous and heartfelt effort. Many thanks to each and every one of them. Prayerfully consider joining this ministry. If the answer is yes, call the Parish Office and ask for Sue Entwistle.
