Culture of Life
The Catholic Church has always been a champion of the most vulnerable moments of life. Pope John Paul II in 1993 stated: “The culture of life means respect for nature and protection of God’s work of creation. In a special way it means respect for human life from the first moment of conception until its natural end.”
Using information from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the Diocese of Joliet we promote the Church’s “Gospel of Life” through prayer, education, social action and political advocacy. We seek to defend the sanctity of human life by increasing awareness on embryo research, reproductive technology, love and marriage, contraception, abortion, people with disabilities, end of our days and the death penalty while inviting and encouraging action and advocacy.
We invite you to learn more about the issues, pray, take action to express your concerns, and support and live the Gospel of Life. Our parish supports a culture of life. For information and to accept the invitation contact us.
