We have reached the last day of school! What a year it has been! Everyone has worked hard and is ready for some rest, relaxation and family time. We know the years always go quickly and this one is no different. We start each year in anticipation of the new challenges, blink our eyes and all of a sudden it is May.
Last Day of School – Tomorrow is the last day of school. It is a “dress up” day for mass. Students will return to their classrooms after mass and be dismissed shortly after that.
School Board Needs You – The SIS School Board will have a few openings for the 2019-2020 school year. Watch on the website and on School Speak for the application. If you have questions, please contact me or member of the board. It is a good way to share your gifts and talents with our school.
Medication Pick-up- If your child has had an epi-pen or any other medication that was kept in school, please pick it up tomorrow. We cannot keep medication for the 2019-2020 school year over the summer. Any meds left will be destroyed in the month of June.
Summer Scrip Order – We will be putting in a Scrip Order on June 17th. Be sure to order for all of your summer needs!
P.E. Uniforms – Students in Grades 1-8 wear uniforms for PE Class. The order form is in the e-envelope and due on June 21st.
This is my last weekly email to you and it is bittersweet for me. You have shared your children with me and let me be a part of their journey over the past 15 years. It has been a privilege to watch them grow and change each year. There are no words to describe my gratitude for allowing me to be a part of your child’s and your families’ lives over the years. While I look forward to retirement, I know I will miss the morning greetings and the smiles I see throughout the day from your children. They are each beautiful gifts from God! Each child is unique and individal.
Thank you for all of your kind words, cards and gifts. I am overwhelmed at your generosity! The parents and children at St. Isidore School are very special! You will always remain in my heart and in my prayers.
Enjoy a safe, fun summer with your family! May God bless you always.
