Year 1
Confirmation as St. Isidore is a two-year program. It is always preferred that children enter the program after continuing their K-6 faith formation beyond 1st Communion classes.
Confirmation Year 1 can be attended in 7-11 grade. This year we will focus on developing an understanding of our trinitarian God, the Gospel message, and how this fits into the Mass. Confirmation sessions are in no way a replacement for weekly Sunday Mass. It is an expectation of all confirmation teens to be attending Mass weekly, as the Lord commands keeping the sabbath Holy, and the Eucharist is the “source and summit” of our Catholic faith. Confirmation sessions are in no way a replacement for weekly Sunday Mass. Teens will discover how God is personal beginning with Alpha Youth, followed by a dive into the old testament, then a look at the depth of the Mass. Teens meet in small groups weekly.
