Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thursday letter…Friday edition…

We are in the middle of the three busiest, quickest moving weeks of the school year.  As you prepare for the excitement of Christmas, I hope that you are able to find some quiet time to reflect on the spirit of Advent.  Our Kindergarten-5th graders did a phenomenal job reminding us why we celebrate Christmas at our annual Christmas program this week, today our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students received the gift of inner peace that comes with reconciliation, and all of our students have been visiting Whoville while shopping at Santa’s Workshop!  What a nice week it has been!

Santa’s Workshop- THANK YOU to our elves for hosting Santa’s workshop yesterday and today.  As always, we were blown away with the decorating.  The Ministry Center has been turned into Whoville!  But the absolute best part of Santa’s Workshop is the excitement in the eyes of our little ones when they get to Christmas shop for their loved ones.

Polar Express- Students in K-4 can come to school in their favorite jammies, robe, and slippers on Thursday, December 14th for Polar Express Day!

Football Mania- We had two $25 winners this week.  Congratulations to James Kopczynski for winning on a ticket sold by the Janas family, and to the Hernandez family.

January Hot Lunch and FFF- Both are open in FACTS and both are due Tuesday, January 2nd thru FACTS.  January’s FFF is Panera.

December FFF/Spirit Wear- Next Friday 12/ 15 is our December Fun Food Friday/Spirit Wear day.  Please send your child with a sack lunch if you did not purchase the FFF lunch option.

Live Nativity- All families are invited to join us on Wednesday, December 20th as our 6th grade class presents the annual Live Nativity in the church.

Hip, Hip Hooray It’s Christmas Vacation…almost- Our students will dismiss at 11am on Thursday, December 21st to begin Christmas vacation.  Classes resume on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Red and Green Dress Down Day- All students may dress out of uniform wearing red, green, or Christmas apparel to school on Thursday, December 21st.

Christmas Project 2023- Each year we acknowledge our dedicated teachers and staff with a coordinated gift from the St. Isidore families.  If you are still planning to contribute to this gift, please send your payments to Mrs. Camara by Monday December 11th

Advent Blessings,
