Dear Parents and Guardians,
What a great 3on3/Back to School event we had this past Saturday! It was good to be back together as a school community. Thank you to Mr. Stutson and his team for all of their hard work putting the day together. We were blessed with wonderful weather, yummy treats, and great basketball. Looking forward to next year’s tournament!
Are you ready for some football?! The Football Mania fundraiser is underway! A few reminders as we head into the weekend:
- Paper tickets were sent home earlier this week. You can return the ticket stubs and payment to the office. Paper tickets and money are due to the office by Wednesday, September 6th in order to be eligible for week 1 games and the full season prize.

- We need volunteers to sell tickets after Saturday/Sunday masses. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0944A4AF23A5F9C61-after
- 10% of the ticket purchase price comes back to you as a tuition credit. Paper tickets, tickets sold after mass and online tickets all earn you credits.
Art Club and Chess Club are back! If you are interested in signing up, all details are posted on School Speak.
Come Join the Band! Mr. Brownold will introduce the band program to our students in grades 4-8 tomorrow with a special concert during the day. Students who are new to the band program can talk with Mr. Brownold about the different instruments as well.
If you have not yet submitted your payments for August/September hot lunch, please do so asap. There are a few out still lagging out there.
Fall picture day is Friday, September 8th. Students are out of uniform on that day, however the out of uniform dress code in our handbook still applies. Information about pictures went home earlier this week and is also posted on School Speak.
On the car line Thank you for your patience as we have worked through the first full week of school arrival and dismissal logistics. We have witnessed some wonderful examples of kind, Christian behavior as veteran parents have helped new parents find the right place to be at the end of the day. Please continue to be patient as we want to keep everyone safe at both arrival and dismissal. Regarding arrival, please do not park your car while in the car line to take something out of the trunk or to help your child out of the car. There is a line of cars behind you. Please have your children ready to exit the car on the passenger side each morning. Regarding dismissal, students can only enter their cars on the passenger side. We will not let a child into the lot to walk around to the driver’s side of the car. For grades 4-8, please, please, please follow the line and pull up all the way to the furthest green cone (or the grassy area just past the MC apron) to load your child. And again, continue to be patient as cars ahead of you are loading. This process will be running like a well-oiled machine in no time at all.
And last, but not least, thank you for your continued patience as we switch student information systems. As you know, the last day to use School Speak will be August 31st. The plan is to be fully integrated onto the FACTS platform by September 1st. As we switch over, everything on School Speak will move to FACTS. In the meantime, FACTS will be sending emails directly to families to set up their accounts.
Stay cool! Mrs. Alimento
