The St. Isidore Catholic School Board is the most executive leadership board within our school, which works closely with the principal and pastor in forming policies. The School Board is a working, advisory board consisting of parent representatives, the principal, the director of advancement and the pastor. The Board helps form the policies which give direction to the programs in the school, functioning within the guidelines established by the Joliet Diocesan Schools Office and the Joliet Diocesan School Board. School board members work with the pastor and principal regarding all areas of the school with the exception of staffing. Board members serve a three-year term which can be renewed once. Each member is responsible for chairing a committee and reporting on the progress of his/her committee to the School Board at each meeting. Our current School Board Committees are: Legislative Action, Empower Illinois, Step It Up, RaiseRight, Finance, Fund-a-Cause and Gala. Board meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:00-8:30pm.
If you are interested, please consider completing an application to join our School Board. Submissions will be received up until August 1 for the ’24 – ’25 school year.
